Past Technical Sessions from Forest Products Division |  |
The 2006 Annual Meeting was held Nov. 12-17 in San Francisco, California. It may have been our most successful technical program ever, with large audiences attending many of our sessions. The 2006 Annual Meeting Guide for Forest Product Division Members (a PDF file prepared by Dr. Lei Kerr of Miami University of Ohio) shows the sessions we sponsored and related sessions of interest. Topics such as Green Materials and Wood Biorefineries, and Process Engineering of Biobased Products generated significant interest. The Division has been on the cutting edge of the green engineering area, providing sessions on these topics long before they become so popular.

The AIChE 2003 Fall Annual Meeting was held Nov. 16-21, 2003 in San Francisco - a fabulous venue and a very successful conference. The Forest Products Division (group 17) sponsored the following sessions:

Many thanks to the speakers and session chairs who made these sessions possible - and very successful. Attendance was better than in many past years, and audience interest in the topics was clearly high. We had participants from several countries participating in the Forest Product Sessions, which offered a broad spectrum of advanced insights into many issues pertaining to forest products.
